It is important to have a brand that reflects your personal style when having you name out there. This particular client is a DJ who previously created a nameplate for himself. For his logo redesign, I wanted to create visuals that represent his energetic style of music. The typeface for the initials was inspired by the look of an equalizer, mimicking the stacked blocks. To balance out the heavy, graphic initials, a clean typeface with maximum tracking was used for Nelson's full name.
