R.O. WEB LAYOUT
I had the opportunity to work with clients who owned a cafe business in Mexico. They were looking to give their name a fresh new look, in addition to new marketing material. When redesigning the new logo, I had the target consumers in mind. Young adults and families are generally attracted to things that look cute and friendly, which is the direction I took the logo. It is also kept minimal, to prevent the audience from being overwhelmed. Raspados Orientales is a cafe that specializes in bubbletea. Based on the current logo and from what the business owners experienced, bubbletea is still a fairly new thing to people in Mexico; therefore it would help to have a logo that is a more direct representation of R.O.’s specialty, while expressing some “oriental” feel to it, which is why the panda was incorporated into the design.
I also began R.O.'s new website, which is essential to get the name out. The choices made in typeface and colour palette reflects the feel of the logo, while the graphic elements reflect the variety of products R.O. has to offer.
